Billy- Missing from Prudhoe, Northumberland

My perfect Billy cat went missing 2 days ago, i know its early days but this is so out of character, he's only 5 years old, neutered, microchipped, no collar and is ginger and white, he's a little beauty, very healthy looking, groomed regular. He is the most precious thing to us so anyone in our locality please keep your eyes open.
He doesnt venture far, only to a wood which is literally a 1 minute walk away on our doorstep, several foxes have been noted in there so im hoping he hasnt been a threat to them and attacked.

Re: Billy- Missing from Prudhoe, Northumberland

Billy come back this morning, very dirty and smelly, frantically using his front legs but seems to be dragging his back ones, no colour to his pink nose or ears and white in the mouth so think he's in shock. Gona take him to the vets this morning, will keep you posted.

So glad you found him ok, our cat got shut in a garage for a week and she came back very thin and pale, but made a full recovery thank goodness. I am sure he will be fine once he gets a cuddle and some food

I wish that was true but unfortunately i've come back from the vets alone :-( Billy has injuries that are consistent with being swung, he has a large fracture to his tail/spine. If he doesnt manage to wee or poo himself by Friday then he'll have to be put to sleep. If he does manage then they'll xray him to see how extensive the fracture is, if they can amputate his tail then they will but if the fracture is further up his spine then he'll have to be put to sleep. I'm so shocked and shaken that some sick git could do this to an innocent cat :-( I'll keep you posted xx

Oh my goodness I am so so sorry for you and your gorgeous boy. There are some horrid people out there. I pray that Billy can recover from this and makes it. Thinking of you.
