Re: Temperature Of Basking Heat Light

In all due respect, you appear to have love for your animals - but until you have many years of experience and knowledge under your belt, breeding I must say is a bad idea for the novice.

A lot of breeders I know just can't find homes for babies. There are so many beardies out there already, to contribute to that would just be irresponsible.
And not to mention the costs involved! Have you thought about exotic vets fees? And incubators?

As I already mentioned, Beardies should be kept alone.

The best thing to do will be to sign up on the Reptile forums Reptile Forums UK - Care, Pictures, Classifieds & More and open a thread in the classifieds, Lizards section.
There are plenty of people from around the Manchester area on there, and plenty of others willing to travel.

I would say from 6 months would be more reliable.
Try lift up their tails and looking straight on at them from the back. If you see 2 bulges towards the base of the tail, it could be male. Males also have quite pronounced femoral pores on their back legs, Can you see some raise circles on any of their back legs?

Try having a look here too Determining the Sex of Your Bearded Dragon - Hades Dragons UK

But to tell 100% what sex it is, you would have to have them probed, which must be done by a vet.
