Re: What best suits?

The OP didn't say they wanted a lizard that was cuddly and could be handled. Assuming they did their research they would know that reptiles aren't a "pet" in that sense and basic temperature & humidity isn't that hard to maintain with the right equipment.

I will assume you have seen more of the OP than I have.

My comments were not posted in relevance to the OP, but towards the attitudes of new reptile keepers, many of them do not realize how difficult and expensive these animals can be, despite popular belief.

Oh right - I just assumed you knew something about the OP that I didn't. I'll vouch for that, I spend a small fortune each month on my lot!

i agree on the expense side i keep chuckwallas and desert iguanas both of which are herbivores (have occasional meal worms and waxworms but not all of them eat them and only as a treat ) but need there temperatures very very high 50 degrees centegrate in the hot spot. but i dnt believe they are difficult to look after unless you dnt follow the basics of herp care like heat UV and calcium dosing ive found it particularily easy to look after mine and they are supposed to be intermediate. but TIME is the issue really with reptiles you have to put the time in to do the research get the right equipment and only then choose ur lizard.
