Re: sheding skin

HI,
I have a bearded dragon a female, and yes obviously she sheds, tbh i leave her to it, she rubs herself along the log to drag it off and she has a fine mist spray (water) every morning as this helps with it to!! i try not to intervine at all in all honesty!

Our bearded loves coming out o her viv, the winter when we have the heating on she comes out in the house for a run then when shes had enough she'll sit under the radiator then we know its time for her to go back, but she loves the freedom and chasing the little dog

Re: sheding skin

can the skin look cloudy and darker when they are shedding, mine has shed his tail, but i think he is still shedding the rest.

does their apetite get less when they are shedding?

can they shed every week or every couple of weeks?

scratching the tank and themselves is normal and licking is how they smell things . you can give them a bath in skin warm water once a week to help or use a cotton bud with water on it if it gets stuck this helps.

hope this helps you
