i know there amphibian, but don't know which part of site to ask about them in,

in south wales been looking for a while but can't find any.

any body keeped them before ?

Hi! I have kept axolotls. I get them from a place called the Hollybush near Cannock.

I kep them in a 36" x 12" x 12" tank and fed them on beef heart (frozen).

They are fascinating pets but not easy to keep. They live submerged in the water all the time so no need to give them room to get out of the water.

As their gills are on the outside they do no move at all to breathe so do not be alarmed when they sit motionless.

There are some good books with are well worth reading before you get any.
