How old is the Dragon? The minimum vivarium size that I would recommend for one of these lizards if 4 x 2 x 2ft, some people will recommend a 3 x 2 x 2ft enclosure however it is more difficult to provide a suitable temperature gradient.

I'd recommend re-posting this in the reptile forum.

No, a 3ft viv isn't big enough, the minimum is 4ftx2ft. And as Pleccy rightly pointed out, it's difficult with smaller vivs to create the right temperatures at each end.

Re: Bearded Dragon - 2 questions?? help

I agree with whats been said, a 4x2x2 is minimum for an adult beardie, my beardie is small for an adult but hes in a 4x2x2 and i really cudnt imagine him being in anything smaller. the puffed beard i wudnt worry about aslong as its not black which wud mean its stressed, mine puffs his beard out from time to time when hes chilling on his log.

Well her cage size should be upgraded to a 4x2x2, When you say she is fully grown, How old is she? And the puffing out her beard in the mornings or after a sleep would mean shes stretching it. But ifs shes also bobbing her head quite slowly, That means its more like domination, and trying to be bigger. Abit hormonal aswell. Are you sure shes female?
