Smile Hello (Newbie) :)

Hello everybody

I just joined..
I got a Leopard Gecko two days ago been researching for a while before getting it but theres just one thing ..i was planning on making a moist hide but the man said as its a young gecko this isnt needed? i asked why and he simply said ..it doesnt need it.
This didnt seem true to me so i thought id ask ?

Also if i upload pics would anybody be able to fully ID it for me?

I don't know an awful lots about Gecko's but isn't the moist hide to aid shedding??? In that case, a young one will need one as they shed regularly when they are juveniles.

hi there n welcome i can only say when i have seen them in my local reptile shop they are always on damp moss.so ? to what uve been told.im so glad your doing your research xx
