Hi there Puddles, I've never heard of a yellow sided skink before, there is a red sided skink but its not one of them.
To me it looks like Eumeces schneideri more commonly known as a Berber skink, but I'm no expert on skink species so I could easy be wrong

as for the vacation thing lol that was me but i figured it out hes comming with me lol

okay so i have some high quality pictures of him now hes really cool and he is starting to like me because after i pick him up and go about when its time for the home he doesnt want to go back lol he grabs to me fingers lol
he does all sorts of cool stuff now like crawl up my back and what not lol hes cool.

ya lol the other one was with a webcam this ones are much better quality

he deffo doesn't look like my first description of him mousehead etc he look more like a lizard now I suppose it IS because the definition is now better of him.

so i just recently its been pretty cold and even with heat cranked in my house my home for my lizzard is like 5c under will that affect him? if so would upgrading from a 75w to 100w bulb help much?
