To start but you would be better and getting a 4ft but only use a section till beardie is bigger they dont like to feel totally lost and its easier for them to find there food whilst young. 4ft better for when an adult they like a bit more room then.

i won 3ft on ebay... will just be having the one, eggs only hatched this week so wont be getting him for few weeks, how long will 3ft last? over a year i hope x

Beardie going to be very young then. There a little harder at that age. But very sweet .should do you for a while they dont grow to quickley.

Most reptile and some pet shops stock it or you can order it on line. Try and read up on the dietry care of the beardy as they can suffer bad disformaties if not given the right diet and become very sick.

A 3ft will last your beardie around 5-6 months. Then the minimum is 4ftx2ft. It doesn't state the width in the auction - do you know how wide it is?
The general rule is that it must be able to turn around without it's tail bending ie touching the sides.

That is a reasonable price - seen as it does come with some equipment.

To be on the safe side, I would buy a new UV. These need replacing every 6 months anyway, and UV is so incredibly important to babies that it just isn't worth risking when buying second hand.

If it was me, I would also sterilize the wood - bake it in the oven for a while. This will kill of anything that might be on there (Beardies can carry mites, and that's the last thing you want)
