Re: New Baby Iguana - Pictures!

I have never seen a baby one.. Isn't he very brightly coloured..

We used to have one many years ago.. His name was George.. He used to sit on top of the curtain rail.. I never saw him get up or down but would just be there.. LOL He was apprx 2.5' long(body) then his tail seemed to go on for ever.. if my sis ever joins here Im sure she will still remember George whipping her across the face with his tail.. Left a big mark..

I can honestly say though even though we had one I don't know a thing about them apart from he liked his heat pad and his lamp and lots of vegetables.. And he was very quick going across the living room floor

Aw very cute! They are amazing lizards but I don't think I could handle one when it hits puberty! I prefer to have pets that actually like me lol

Out of curiosity, are you not worried about him going nuts and attacking you when it's your time of the month? Obviously you have a while to wait before all that starts, but I really don't think I could keep an animal that will go to savage me whenever I'm on my period!

Enjoy him while he's small and friendly!

No

Here's some more pics of him!

He's gone a bit greener and I think, fattened up a bit? He has suddenly found a huge appetite today I think he just needed a few days to settle..

Having a soak in his mini bath. I like to think of it as his hot hub as its right over the heat mat so nice and warm lol!

And having a proper bath yesterday, he LOVED it

And had to share these as they are so cute! He has a lovely variety of vines, plants and branches to sleep on, all different sizes, all different levels. Yet, he chooses to balance precariously on this very thin branch....!!!

(Excuse the smeary glass, its from where i've sprayed viv)

Re: New Baby Iguana - Pictures!

Yeah, he is a beautiful boy in person, my photography skills do him no justice

Im not sure he will keep those lovely colours, igs go duller as they age so he will probably lose them

I had a beautiful one when I was young. She was technically my brothers, but he got bored of her so I inherited her
