A few questions about crested geckos

Hi folks,

I'm considering entering the world of lizards and I'm tempted by the cresties - I like the look of them and I've heard good things. Just a few questions:

1) What size viv? From what I've read the recommended is 45x45x60, but is this just a minimum? Having always kept furries I'm inclined to go bigger, is there a preferred size?

2) The heat and light issue. Half the info I've found (inc word of mouth) says that cresties don't need any heating or lighting, so long as your room temp is within recommended limits. Is this actually viable, or would it be too risky?

3) Are they noisy? Sounds like an odd question but the only room in the flat with space for a large viv is the bedroom, and as cresties are nocturnal I don't want to risk losing out on my beauty sleep - gos knows I ned it lol!

Any further info is also great, or links to reliable care sites (hard to tell) much appreciated. This is still only a consideration - furries I have no problem with but I've not had reptiles before and its something I would go into lightly.

Thanks!
