Re: Mixing Sexes - Leopard Gecko's
Most of the time it can be fine but the male can harass the females making them stressed. Also you can potentially have lots of eggs.
Personally i wouldnt risk stressing the females out, if they are happy as they are. But everyone has their own opinion. ![]() x |

Re: Mixing Sexes - Leopard Gecko's
Thank you for the advice, Although I'm not too worried about having lots of eggs as i intend for them to breed but I understand what you mean about the females being harassed, but everything seems to ok between them all

Re: Mixing Sexes - Leopard Gecko's
I would keep them seperate. To breed the females must be at least 50g, and you have to give extra calcium before the mating and while they are gravid.
I have bred my biggest and best temperament female just over a year ago, I keep my females in 2 tanks (2 in one, 3 in another), and the male in his own tank. When I bred them I put the female into the males tank, let them mate then took her out.
