Blue Tongued Skinks

I am getting close to getting my first Blue Tongued Skink, I have done 4 months of research on them so I can care for them to the best of my abilities.

I am still fuzzy on a few topics and the some sites contradict themselves:

Do I turn their UV lights off at night?

What are the best veg to feed them? As I have heard some thing can be bad for them.

Any other tips would be great.
