Unhappy hardest decision

Hi everyone

Had to let my beautiful baby girl Penny go on 11/07/08.
She was a 20 year old+ tortoise shell. I'd lost 2 dogs and a cat also
this way,but they were my dad's decisions. This time it was mine alone
because my parents aren't here anymore and I can honestly say it was
the most heart breaking decision I have ever had to make.
I have a black cat still here called Bella, but she isn't Penny is
she? All I can say to anyone who may be in the process of the same
thing is you have to put THEM before yourself. If you know they're
suffering the last thing you'll be doing for them is an act of pure love.
Yes it'll hurt like hell when it happens, but you'll know it was
for them and in time you'll appreciate this. And seeing as you're
obviously an animal lover,it would be a crime if you didn't give that love
to another one sometime in the future

I hardly ate a thing for a week before because of the constant knot in
my stomach (i lived on cigarettes, coffee and lager!!) so why would I
want to put myself through THAT again? Because I'm a sucker for a
cute furry face like the rest of you that's why.
Sorry this has been a bit of a ramble but I just had to say it to
people who may understand and maybe take something from it.

health and happines
to you and all your
furry kids

Re: hardest decision

Aww bless saying goodbye to your wee tortoise, they say time is a great healer, so you take your time to decide what to do next.

Re: hardest decision

Thanks everyone for your kind words, they ARE appreciated.
Just noticed my other cat Bella has been acting a bit strange,
I think he's realized.
Better give him a cuddle!
(yes, I know Bella's a girls name-long story!!!)
