I just stumbled across this forum and I'm afraid it's where I'm going to be spending every free minute now

A bit about me - I'm married, no kids and currently have one dog ( a twelve year old Cav KC, with heart problems - don't they all?!). I'd love to get a second dog and am very tempted to get a giant breed like a newfie, I grew up with great danes and miss their presence! Still debating whether to get a pup or rescue too... hope you all can help

I love large breeds too, trouble is I like the medium ones as well, & the small ones...and the ones in between.

If you look on the members list at the top you will see a member called Newielove. I think there are two members actually who both have newfies. I love these dog and one day will have one, I have read up so much about them, you cant be houseproud with one of these MASSIVE babies lolol
