Hi my name is Mary Hayley, I'm new to this website and hope that I'm doing this right. I have a rescue dog. Collie/Cross called Parker. He lives up to his name and sticks his nose into everything. He is soo nosey.
He had a mishap this morning. He seems to have split his nail on his front paw. Can I treat this myself or is it a vet job.
Any feedback is appericated
Thanks in advance
Mary

Hi Thanks for the welcome. I've posted 2 messages on Dog Chat and Health Forum
Hope to get some feedback.
Nice to find a website that lets you talk about the most important things (Parker) without boring non pet people.

Don't worry, you'll be able to talk non stop on here, most of the women do anyway but if you need a breather away from Parker, theres always general chat

hi and welcome, dont worry to much, so long as it is clean it will grow back fine. if you think that it at risk of tearing then maybe get someone to tirm it caerfully , any good dog groomer will be able to tidy it up. i have had a dog compleatly pull her nail off before now and she was fine,
