Hi we are 3 (mummy and two children).
The pets we own and mummy takes care of are:- 1 cat (female and neutered). 2 leopard geckos (male, female). 3 quinea pigs (2 females,1 male). The quinea pigs have been with us for 3 weeks now, knock wood doing ok!!!! We would really appreciate some tips and advice on caring for them. At first we kept them indoors, but have now transfered them to a hutch outside. It is 2 storey, at the moment they just use the top. This may sound abit silly but should we put straw on the bottom level to encourage them to use it? The hatch rests on concrete and they show no interest in going down there. Also we are interested in the best bedding material to use. At present it is newspaper, wood chip shavings and straw. Lastly does anyone know of a supplier on line who will deliver at wholesale prices/cheaper than pet shop, as mummy is on a budget. Well hope someone can help us. Bye for now DC&T |
