Hello

Hi, I've just found this forum and it seems nice and friendly (so far hehe). I have a 5 month old staffy x shar pei puppy and two 6 month old kittens, all were rehomed from shelters. Hoping for some tips on the puppy but generally just for chats and other people's experiences too Look forwards to chatting.

Jodie

Re: Hello

Hi I've just found this site and hoping to find some friendly advice on keeping a 10yr old dog. I've just separated from my husband and am going it alone with her. I was use to sharing her with my husband and could do with checking out that I'm looking after her ok. I walk her twice a day, 20 mins a time, feed her twice a day (according to packet minus a bit) and leave her with filled kongs when I go to work to make up the rest of her diet (up to 9 hrs). She sleeps with me in bed at night as company for both of us and seems very happy but I'm a bit worried that I'm not doing enough and could do more. Any tips? Look forward to sharing tips!

Try posting on the dog chat /health and nutrition pages chick, you'll get more replies xx

If she's happy and healthy as you say then I'm sure you're doing great xx I'd bet some people'd have something to say about her sleeping on, let alone in your bed; but it's your bed after all - my boy snuckles on the end of our bed despite having his own and if the OH is out for the night he does take advantage and sleeps on his side hehe x
