Just to say hello!!!
Hi there new to this forum so just to say hi to everyone! Im a scottish lass and had my black and tan cav girl for 15 years until we sadly lost her to old age in july 08! Still not properly over it, got her just before i turned 8! She inspired my love for dogs and showed me the true meaning of calmness! She was a very special girl and however much i would like to take the credit for how well behaved she turned out, it was probably her that could take the credit for how i turned out!

Hi and welcome to Pet Forums.
 So sorry to hear you lost your girl.  She was a very good age for a Cav though wasn't she, you should be proud of her getting to that age she must have been very much loved.

Yeh she was a good age and very loved but lots of medical problems towards the end couldnt really leave her on her own at all cause she could get confused almost like early dementia! forgetting to go outside when she needed the loo she took seizures she needed medication morning and night but we loved her so kept her going until the vet said he thought it was time! thanx for saying hello guys!

Welcome and so Sorry to hear you lost your B&T . I have a ten year old who has just started on meds recently, the dreaded coughing started so took her for a check up and her grade 1 has gone to grade 4/5.

AAWW muse08 tis the worst thing! mind you Sash started her heart tablets at 10 and she lived for 5 more years! so you've still got lots of happy years ahead of yous, enjoy!

Sorry to hear about your loss. My Rosie is thirteen and she has heart problems since she was about nine. She has two kinds of tablets which seems to be working well for her. Everyone keeps telling me she has done really well for getting to thirteen and that she must be on her last legs now :-( but maybe she still has a few years in her yet. Let's hope so because like you I will be heart broken when I lose her.
