Hello I'm new

I've just purchased a C.K.Charles Blenheim 9 weeks old, he is adorable and seems very contented, any advice on house training please.

Re: Hello I'm new

Hello and welcome. My dog's getting on a bit so I can't remember too much about housetraining I'm afraid. Main thing is take them out for a wee lots of times and praise them a lot for doing it outside, but don't get cross if they have accidents indoors, and have loads of patience, it can take up to a year for them to be completely clean.

Re: Hello I'm new

Hello xxx

I am new here too. they are beautiful dogs, always wagging their tails.
I have two yorkies, Molly was a dream to train, Max was the opposite.

Take him out in the morning, and see if he will go to the toliet, lots of praise if he does. Inside i had some paper by the door, and would put them on as soon as they started acting like they wanted to go, or started to pee, and then praise like a lunatic.

Keep at it, and expect little mishaps. Plenty of praise .
