Hi I'm new to this to o

Hello everyone.
What a big community out there. I joined a couple of days ago and have found the site really interesteing lots of topics and found a friend already. I could do with a bit of advice as well if anyone has got any. Has anyone had a grieving dog. I have cocker spaniels and have recently lost one which has broken my heart. I have a family of cockers and they are my babies plus a 7 week old litter so nobody is lonely but my chocolate and tan bitch seems to be missing the one we lost. She is sitting on the stair he used to lie on. Sticking to me like glue and not really mixing with the other dogs. She is getting lots of cuddles and love - she is eating so that side of things is not a worry but she seems sort of lost. Any advice please.

So sorry for your loss, it's heart breaking isn't it.
Wish I could help, I can only suggest lot's of cuddles & strokes.
Time is a great healer as they say.

Thanks yes that's what I'm doing. Just seems strange that she is the only one that is showing physical signs apart from me but then again that could be where she is picking it up from I suppose. Hadn't thought of it that way.
Thanks for the support.

Ahhhh bless her, i agree with Baloo , she is going through the grieving process in her own way, they do form bonds with other doggy pals, when one of my dogs died last year from a sudden illness her'best friend' Lucy my lurcher was looking for her for weeks, especially at meal times as they ate together i just gave her lots of fuss etc, Lucy is 13 and older than Pepsi who had died, She has got over it, and as Baloo said time is a great healer, i hope she feels happier soon i am very sorry for your loss.xx
