Re: Hello There...from Sonny
Well I got Sonny on saturday and apart from a couple of frightened moments he seems to be settling in ok.
I'm back at work today and feel bad for leaving him but will get to pop in at lunchtime which isn't so bad.
He seems to be eating well - whiskas and james wellbeloved - both of which he was used to at the foster home but i've not seen him have a single drop of water........unless he's only drinking during the night.....hes peeing and pooping alright so guess he's ok.
I'm taking him to the vets tomorrow for a healthcheck. I was sure when I rang the lady at the foster home and she told me about Sonny that she said he'd been castrated and had his injections and flea/worm treatment. however when I saw there was nothing in his welcome pack to prove this I rang asking if she had the certificate to which she said she'd never said he had had all this stuff. When I picked him up she said he was "due" for his flea/worms thing and gave me a small tube (which is applied to the back of his neck, which i haven't done yet, any tips please? or shall I just take it to the vets with me tomorrow?)
I didn't think too much of it at the time and she really was a lovely woman but I now feel a bit miffed that I'm 99% sure she said on the phone that this was all taken care of when in fact it wasn't. Its not like i could of mixed him up with another cat as he's the only one I've spoken to anyone about but nevermind.
I'll post pics as soon as I can.
