hi all

just joined hoping to find some info just found out our 10 year old mongrel has possibly got to loose one of his front legs hes very very active charges round like a puppy on speed just cant imagine him coping with only one front leg anyone gone through this ? Need advice

Hi & welcome. From what I know about dogs & cats that have to lose a leg, they normally don't have much problem as the other 3 compensate for the loss. I'm sure he will be just fine, despite his age. I would voice your concerns with your vet, but i'm sure they would'nt do it unless it was necessary anyway.
