Unhappy Cat toilet!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to pet forum and have just become a cat owner! We have had a cat before who used a litter tray but this one prefers the garden in particular right in the middle of the lawn! Has anyone any ideas how to stop her? Ive tried putting some 'lawn' in her litter tray, changing her litter for another kind all to no avail. While I am quite pleased I dont have a litter tray to clean I really dont like her using the lawn as my son likes to play football on it! Help- any ideas appreciated.

Re: Cat toilet!

there are a few things you can buy from diy shops to stop your cat using the lawn. never had this problem myself, but cats don't like pepper and orange peel, sure someone will tell you more things lol, but you could try putting some on the area she uses, just for a while, and it might deter her xx
