Hya and welcome we have 10 hens 6 of the being ex batt hens.. .they are getting a little old now, so not sure how much longer we will have them,,we do allow all our hens to die gracefully and would never help them along when they stop laying etc

Hi and welcome
 I got six ex battery hens two months ago, sadly a couple got very very noisy so i found them a fantastic home and just kept two which my neighbours were happy about, they virtually live in the house and just wonder outside and sleep outside, they spend all day in the hosue though and have just worked out how to gte up stairs (but not down them lol)
