corgimama is on a distinguished road
I am new to this forum, thanks for inviting me.

Gentlefolk,

My name is Marianne Timko. I am from Arvada, CO, just north of Denver. Here I am known as the Corgimama. My housemate David and I have been closest friends for the past 15 years and enjoy raising four dogs, all of whom were rescued by us. We have a Boston Terrier named Kissy. I got her from the local animal shelter. She is six years old. There is Daisy, a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix which I baby sat for a while and her owner just did not want her any longer. She has been with us two years now. And then there are the Corgis. Corgi and Brooke, two of the most loving dogs one could hope for. They came from a pet store which was abandoned by the owner. Most animals were rescued, the fish and birds did not make it. I cried for days, but was happy to obtain the Corgis. They are sisters and were born 5/27/07. The most damage done to the dogs and cats and rabbits, etc. was dehydration. A year and a half later Corgi was diagnosed with double sided hip dysplasia. She could no longer walk. We were devastated. The only alternative was FHO surgery which was performed on May 12, 2009. I have dedicated a website just to her. It is an informational site only. No selling, no commercial of any kind. It is for people who need information regarding the recovery and after care for dogs undergoing a similar experience. You may visit me at www.corgimama.com

Thank you for having us.

Marianne

Re: I am new to this forum, thanks for inviting me.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am flattered being that I am so far away.

To your questions, I have posted several pictures of my babies.

Again, blessed be.
