Hello I've got a border collie
Hello,
This is all new to me, my first time in a chat room. I have a male boarder collie he was 6 months old yesterday. This is the first boarder collie i've had, he is great but some times I'm at my wits end with him when he barks for attention especially when I'm cooking. Sonia

I have 4 dogs but am ownder by 1 BC!!!!!! Amazing dogs Id have 20 if I could!!! Im sure lots of people would have advise for you about your pup barking. Hope you love it here ! Lorraine

Hi, lots of help and advice on here, i am owned by 5 border collies and a yorkie terrier.
Barking for attention, ignore, or give him something to do like a frozen stuffed kong will keep him busy.

Welcome!!!
Hi! I have a gsd and a labx, love collies though. I think the kong idea is a good one, definately ignore though because if you shout at her she will bark louder as it will seem like you are joining in! Collies are so 'busy', you could try tiring her out on her walk before you want to get on with your jobs, i know it isn't always practical though. Good luck on the forum, hope you enjoy, lots of people on here with lots of helpfull advice.

i have a blue merle collie who is ten months and three collie crosses, my blue merle has loads of bahaviour issues which im trying to sort out, good luck with the barking issue. charlotte.
