Hello hello, everyone!
My name is Rone.
I'm the proud owner of Melvin, the teacup Himalayan kitten that was born with more problems than an 80 year old man on life support.
He's a tiny little guy, weighing in at 11 ounces on his 3 month birthday. When Melvin is full grown, the vet decided that he won't weigh any more than 3 pounds.
He has a form of dwarfism that makes him proportionate, not short legged like Munchkin cats. "Teacup" persian and Himalayans are a growing trend, these days, and now that I have witnessed the dangers of this breeding practice first hand, I urge anyone considering a teacup to do their homework! There's a lot of health problems involved.
Melvin's full story is located in my signature.
I'm not here to promote his blog, just his story. So I hope to make some friends a long the way!
