Starving artist

Hi All, has anyone ever considered a painting of their pet? If you have, but not done anything about it, any particular reason? Please take a quick look at my site - would love any feedback, good or bad.

Thanks a mil

Re: Starving artist

Many Thanks, it's always good to know what people really think (and whether I'm doing the right type of thing) while I'm stuck on this side of a keyboard/paintbrush...Rob

Re: Starving artist

Thanks! One great thing about painting dogs in particular is that they are full of character - almost human in some of the expressions they pull...!

Re: Starving artist

Hi! And welcome from another animal artist (I specialize in horses)

Lovely work on your site! You are so right - dogs are so full of character. You really need to catch that special spark in them to make the portrait look realistic to the owner.

I am sure you enjoy the forum!

Leena
