hey ho there pet lovers!

so yeah, was just browsing the new looking for some info on some interesting new pets, to expand my knowledge and i randomly came upon this forum. thought it looked interesting, so i thought id swing by

so, about me, well. im a 23 year old guy from Hull in the UK. i have a degree in Geography and Archaeology, and have been keeping pets all my life. i currently have a tortoise and 4 aquariums (marine and tropical), but will be getting rats soon as well. im mostly an aquatic specialist, having kept fish professionally for about 12 years, and working in the aquatic trade for the last 5 years (though for the last 2, ive worked with other small pets as well). ive won awards for my aquariums and fish on the showbench. moving house soon, so can expand my pet collection, hopefully into more unusual insects (ive kept many species of stick insects in the past as well)

im also very keen on my anime and manga, and am a devout follower of asian pop culture, and cosplaying. i usually attend several big conventions a year in the UK, and have won awards for my costumes. other interests of mine include contact juggling (look it up on youtube if you dont know what this is), and amature filmmaking.
