Hi! My name's adrienne and I have a yellow lab named Honey who is pregnant right now (she's got just about a week left!
). I would love some tips/advice that would help calm my nerves about having puppies! Thanks all! ![]() |

Re: hello everyone
Welcome to the forum, I am also new!!!
I have always loved labs but never possessed one! They are lovely isnt it? Anyway I've got some more years to live and I should be having one down the line. I understand that you should be nervous about all this. It's such a cool experience. I have a mongrel who just had 3 pups 6 weeks back, they are now very funny, running, teething everything, falling, playing..., I can spend hours just watching them. During the first 3 weeks the mother will take care of everything, you just have to take care of the mother, but then you shall have to start weaning (gradually introduce soft puppy food) and you will also have to do some clean up, I am sure that you shall find more experienced people around here to help you. Cheers, Brian. |
