Newbie coming off a hell of a dog year, deaths, births, films!

Hello all,

I'm Leiz. Glad to be part of the forum. I'm hope to learn a lot.

It's been a tough year for the family. We lost two of our dog, Bell and Brown. They both were close to a decade old, a Rott and a Ridgeback.

Bell's death came swiftly and was a shock since I hadn't lost a dog in 10 years. Brown's sickness however was slow (DM) and we had to watch her lose herself slowly to the disease. We got her a dog wheelchair and she enjoyed a good quality of life for a fair amount of time always welcoming the day with a smile. When she lost the use of her front legs, things change though and we knew it was time and we put her down.

During this time our third dog Mommets, a Mutt, surprisingly had pups despite being 9yrs old! My parents never spayed her much to my disapproval but it ended up being a blessing because those little puppies helped us so much with the lost of Bell and Brown. Mommets eventually got spayed.

The pups are so great. We gave away two and kept three. We even shot a short film with one of the pups, Bubbercin.
