Hi all..new here.
Hi. My name is martin, I just joined this community as I have 2 dogs... a chihuahua cross which is 12 and I've had in my care since he was a pup, I also now have in my care what I believe, (and many others have confirmed) to be a young staffy cross which I found tied to railings on a nearby local park on saturday night, thin as a rake, aroud 1:30-2-00am, cold and absolutely starving. Im still awaiting a call from the dog warden since i reported her on tuesday but no such call yet which is frustrating as I can't get her a full health check until I get legal ownership of her. I was very warey of her at first especially with my own chow so played it cautiously. I had no intentions of keeping her at first, but she;s a beautiful dog and she's very friendly and loving...although abit naughty at times..hehe.. very calm in the flat, very few behavourial issues and Im sure nothing that can't easily be dealt with..apart from the neglect, I honestly dont feel like theres been any other kind of abuse, physical etc, but I will be seeking advice in this area as I dont have enough knowledge to make that judgment...
I've had such a fight in my mind over the past few days as to whether to keep her, but...now I just can't let her go. hehe. .... Anyway...thats my intro!!

Thank you for caring so much-God knows what could have happened to the poor girl if you had left her there-dont even want to think about it Hope whoever tied her up get their just reward!!!! How are things now-did you get a reply from the Dog Warden? Please keep us all informed. You will find excellent advice and support on here. Take care Maureen I joined a year ago just after we lost our collie cross Lulu suddenly and Pet Forum members helped me so much
