Hello
Hi, I'm totally knew to this but am hoping someone can offer me some advice, we re-homed a 1 year old beagle approximately 6 months ago. Unfortunately she had not been spayed and we did not know dates for her last season so had to wait for her to have 1 then a further 8 weeks before our vets could do the op. Sounds straight forward so far but we took her for the op last week and the vet discovered she had milk so diagnosed a phantom pregnancy with advice to go back in 2 weeks. Since then her stomach has started to swell and the worry levels in our house to rise. Her season was at the end of October and unfortunately she got out on 18 December and was out of site for approx 10 minutes, can anyone give us any advice as to signs tha could let us know whether this is phantom or real?
Thank you
