Thanks for the invite. I live in rural Shropshire and started keeping chickens 2 years ago. I began with 3 hybrids from Omlet (with an eglucube) and have recently added to the flock with 4 bantams and 1 Light Sussex pullet. They are delightful to have around the garden but unfortunately they don't live very long (2 of my hybrids died within 2.5 yrs) and they tend to get sick and die quickly if interventions are not carried out so I rely quite heavily on forums like this one for help, support and advice.The upside is a regular supply of fresh eggs and weed-free garden. |
