Hello,
We are currently on a count down at our house, 4 Days to go till we bring our beautiful Dogue De Bordeaux girl home! We are all sorted, Crate ready, food got, million and one books read, house puppy proofed, garden also, lots of early nights to prepare for the sleepless ones , But my first few nights are still a concern to me, and could use some advice if thats ok?? ![]() We will be picking her up after I finish wrk on Sat, (12) but she is nearly a 2 hour drive away so will not make it to her till about 2ish, so I don't recon we'll be home with her till 5ish, how do I introduce the house, kids, crate, toilet place, all within time for bed? How can I make her comfortable enough with her crate to spend the night in? I was planning on sleeping downstairs on the sofa for the first few nights (her crate is behind the sofa) is this the right thing to do? Hope I'm making sense! I just want to make it as stress free as i can for her, without fussing so much that I end up with another problem! Thanks, xxx |
