Fibrocartilaginous Embolism

Hi there, my labrador has a Fibrocartilaginous Embolism and is paralysed in her left hind leg and tail. She is making progress and we are caring for her. Just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences and could give me any advice or simply share their story.
Thanks
