hi, my name is andrea i am married with 3 grown up children.we live in west yorkshire.i have been brought up with animals all my life, i had horses when i was younger and we also had,cows,sheep,geese,chicks n dogs.i have always stuck with the dogs and horses,but when the family came along sadly i gave the horses up! i have never bothered going back to them as now i would be unable to ride due to illness,so i now just stick to doggies.
we have a gorgeous 2 year old lurcher(border x whippet) called ruby (rubydoo!!) she's my baby!!. we got her when she was 4months old from a lovely family who lived in Blackburn, they had a young family and the mum had to go back to work, so it wouldnt have been fair to leave ruby at home all day alone, so we bought her off the internet. we still keep intouch via facebook and she can see ruby's progress ect.

she is sooooo loved!! and she is sooo loving in return! she loves going in the car!! with her seat belt on of course! running,jumping,swimming and playing with her toys! she has several friends,dogs AND even 2 cats!! fui and elvis!!
she is also a very "lazy" lurcher!! she likes no more than sneaking off upstairs to bed! she tends to sleep most of the time.

previously to ruby i had another lurcher called max (maximoo!) he was a whippet/greyhound cross, he was a rescue dog, we had him 14 years then sadly he had to be put to sleep! i was devastated) i have his ashes and a headstone in the garden, it's comforting to know i still have him with me.

right i hope thats enough info about me for now(i'll be here all night if i dont stop now!! lol)
