I have just joined after bringing 8week puppy home..any advice is welcome..I am a kid on Cesar Milan doing rubbish

For any pup, I'd give them a few weeks to settle in, and just get them used to coming to their name, and try and give them a bit of consistency with their toiletting regime, and that's as much training as I'd do. Other than that, just give them chance to settle. You may find they get a bit of an upset tum from the change in their situation, and their first vaccinations, so if you can space out their worming and flea treatments, I would, just so their system isn't bombarded. Also, after a week or so, you're perfectly fine to get him out and about to get used to people and all the different sights and sounds, just don't take him where there are lots of dogs that may not be up to date with vaccinations. If you've got a few friends with up to date jabs, they could help you socialise him, my two have done this before for others who've bought pups, and they love it.
