Hello! I think I have finally come home.
Hello everyone!
I am never really all that good at introducing myself on forums, but I guess I have to start somewhere. Well, lets start with name and age first. My name is Nicola, I am 29 (1 year till 30) and a stay at home mother to two wonderful daughters Anastasia Leanne who has Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Amy Louise Daisy. We live with my husband Vincent in a three bedroom house in the South East of England. At the moment we share our home with Missy a Galah Cockatoo, Izzy a Congo African Grey, Shen our black Labrador, Thomas (Satan in furry slippers) our black moggy, Charlie Barley and Mo the goldfish plus 10 Danios and Honey and Mustard the Dwarf Lop Rabbits. I am currently trying to convince my husband that some Giant African Land Snails are just what the doctor ordered, after all we can't have that empty fish tank just sitting in the shed now can we? As you can probably tell we're a family of animals lovers, well okay, just me then! My husband has thrust into the world of animistic obsession. Before he met me he only once knew a cat. I don't think he really 'gets' it, but he generally puts up with all the noise and mess (and that's just from the children). Before I became a mother come zoo keeper I studied Foundation Animal care at a local agricultural college, something I would like to go back to in the future. I am still searching for that elusive pet shop that takes small children as part deposit! (joking). I have in the past belong to species specific forums (try saying that after a few glasses of wine). But as I seem to keep a mini petting zoo I have found I have little to talk about unless it's about all of my pets. Oh and I always make the most amusing typos! Hi you sound very similar minded to me allthough never thought of having snails as pets ?!
Where abouts are you ? Cos i am south east england myself from Horsham west sussex Welcome and what times the newbie drinkies ?
