I certainly agree with your input. The consultation process is a two way stream and I would encourage a telephone call if clinical advice is required.

Can you open a "branch" in Gloucestershire please?

Our vets of about 8 years have decided to employ one of these out of hours services for emergency call outs. Theres no way I am taking my pets many miles away to a vet I dont know and who wont have seen the animals before or have any idea of their history. So we're currently on the hunt for a new vet who offer their own out of hours service. Its so sad that vets that offer this are in such a minority at the moment, i'd happily pay the extra out of hours charge (that this other service charges anyway!!) for my pets to see their regular vet.

I fear that if we opened a practice in Gloucestershire our turnout time would be a bit slow!
