Hello from Somerset!
Hi there,
My name is Tanya and I live in Bridgwater somerset. After leaving school I went to college and did a BTEC national diploma in animal care, after leaving untill recently I worked as a vet nurse In bristol and here in Bridgwater taking 3 years out to start a family.
Unfortunatley in April I decided to leave vet nursing due to long hours, unpaid on call, very poor pay and a hurrendous boss! And I am now doing part time work in a pub whilst the boys are at school to keep me sane!
I have an obsession with classic cars and own far too many vw's and mini's!!We also have 4 cats, 3 dogs, 4 Guinea pigs and 3 lizards!
I have decided to look into getting a new member of our family (hopefully a ragdoll) and stumbled across this forum so thought I would drop in and say Aloha!!

Welcome to the forum

I'm from somerset too.

Hopefully you'll be able to go back to the vets when the children are older it's a shame not to use your btec diploma after all that hard work!

Oh wow there are a few of us from Somerset!

Im called Big Blue Betty after my VW Campervan! Its the name I use on VW forums so tought it best not to change it incase I forgot it!!

Hi from Somerset - from one vet nurse to a human nurse also called Tanja!!!!
Its a shame you dropped your nursing - i've been trying to convince my girl to do it as she is very good with animals! Welcome - its good fun on here!
