Hello,

I have 2 cats and 2 chickens and will be getting my first dog in a couple of months.

Cats - Both moggys, both completely black.

Lord Fluffington lll - Used to be a stray but we adopted him (or he adopted us), he's around 8 years old and has lovely long black fur and looks a bit like a Maine Coon.

Augustus 'Gus' - He's our baby, although he's just turned one so not a kitten anymore. Short haired, very crazy, very affectionate, always naughty.

Chickens - One is a Fenning Black called Mulder and the other is a Heritage Skyline called Scully. Guess where we got those names from? Only had them a month or so, not laying yet, looking forward to the first egg.

Had cats all my life but never a dog so I thought I'd join the forum just in case I need some doggy advice.

I do love black cats. Since we didn't have Fluffington as a kitten, when we saw Gus, he just looked like a kitten version of Fluff so we couldn't resist.
