New to pet forums

Hi there

I actually joined up a couple of days ago as i'm having problems with my cat and a new kitten.

I brought our new Bengal kitten (hunni) home Saturday, she's lovely and seems to have settled in very quickly. My problem is our older cat (Figo, a male) he will not come into the room where hunni is, when he see's her he hisses and growls and he seems very unhappy. Has anyone got any advice on how i can deal with this matter as i dont want him to feel left out ......... any replies would be good, thanks

Trace

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I'm sorry I can't offer you any advice, as I haven't ever brought another kitten into the house before.

I'm not sure if you have done so already, but would probably be better if you make a thread about your problem in the cat section.

Hi and welcome!

You do need to give it a lot of time and also give him a lot of love and attention. Make a point of cuddles away from the new kitten. He will mellow...
