I've joined this forum cos recently there are problems between our kitts Noelle (Noey) and Paddy (Padmonster), and a neighbouring cat...

I'm hoping to find some tips here on how to protect my babies from other cats (Paddy gets beaten up a lot lately), and on how to keep the house clean from nasty cat smells (since Paddy is being attacked he refuses to go outside to do his business and we have found poo and wee all over the house )

We have 2 cats - Noey who is our fluffy princess and Paddy who is our little rascal
They get into a lot of trouble but we love them to bits!

First of all put down a litter tray Paddy will feel more secure knowing he doesnt have to go out, and never force him to go out until he wants to
Eventually he will probably venture out on his own, maybe with you for company when hanging washing out or something?
I'm sure things will improve

My Shady is a scaredycat and rarely leaves the house

Hi welcome to the forum, i have two cats that never go out even if doors are open , could you put a litter box down , i expect hes fed up of being picked on such a shame mine are the same one jumped out of window and frightened herself that much she jumped right back in and never been out since

At the mom it seems that Paddy has found his confidence back, tho most of the time he is in calling distance or up a tree. I've put the kitty litter back in the house but he doesnt seem to use it so i asume he's back to doing his business outside.

I noticed yesterday that the black cat who is pestering our kitts is actually only picking on Paddy. He chased Paddy into the house (until he ran into me), but didn't seem to care too much about Noelle, who was lying in the garden with Paddy.
Anyway, the water pistol is on the sofa nxt to me - so next time i'll get him

Maybe a silly question but have you got a litter tray in the house whilst your cat is having these problems with next doors thug!
