Hi, I'm Tash. I have been looking into retiring a greyhound and thought this looked like a good place to stop by first.

I have three kids, 12, 7 and 4. My eldest is disabled but mobile (he's a boot scooter ) but generally fairly uninterested in anything but the washing machine so wouldn't be a hassle to a dog. He is blind though, so any dog that decided to take too much interest might get a face full of his hands. A greyhound sounds like the perfect dog to have around him and from what I have read their temperaments are wonderful and he's good with dogs who just want to have a quick sniff. However, I want to read up and feel confident that I can safely offer a dog a good and loving home before I push forward.
