Re: Hi from down under
Wow .. what a welcome.
To answer some questions: I am from Nelson top of the South Island. We have 3 cats and a couple of sheep and half a dozen chickens. But we live on a farm so we are surrounded by animals. A few pictures are posted here I will work on improving them. |

Someone else has said earnings aren't as good as over here - is the cost of living better though? - i've heard the pace of life is a lot more chilled ![]() Think i need to start saving up for plane tickets, could be a while ![]() Am thinking how handy a sheep is as well - would never need to mow the lawn again and how sweet are they!! |

![]() Unfortunately because of this wages are low and cost of living is high. But life is pretty relaxed here... especially for those of us who are self unemployed. Sheep are only sweet for the first few months of their life - they are a high maintainance animal. But they can make a great pet - and yes they are excellent lawn mowers lol I don't see the point in expending energy and or fuel to mow the lawn when I can have sheep doing it for me. They aren't so good on my wife's flower gardens though ![]() |
