Belinda, Harry and Milly!!!

Hi good news, minimonsters MiniMonsters located a male millipede for Belinda, she has also asked Summer to rehome her Milly(same Species) as her giants were bullying her and cracked her skull!

So harry has "2" females

Here are some pics harry is the smallest, Belinda is the middle sized, and Milly is the largest. Harry is the one "being measured"

They are lovely, my friend held Harry and was surprised how strong their grippy legs are!!

Re: Belinda, Harry and Milly!!!

I like your millipedes! I used to keep them years ago and found that their favourite leaves were dead oak leaves. So I remember colletcing binbags of dead oak leaves in the autumn so that I'd have enough for the rest of the year! My millipedes also liked slices of orange.

Yes collecting autum leaves will be a good idea, mine are abit green, but that was all i could find, that i dare touch(don't wanna pick up any that may have been pee'd on)!

Cool Re: Belinda, Harry and Milly!!!

Remember that millipedes are arboreal, ie they climb trees (an often overlooked fact - I actually saw one climbing a tree in Barbados!); so it is really important that they are kept in a container with walls that they can climb - so don't use a fish tank or Pal Pen.

I have sought advice from expert keepers and breeders on a different forum!
My millipedes are fine as they are in their pen pal tank, which was reccomended to keep them in! and to keep them humid!

a tank is perfectly good for millipedes...width and lenth is more important then hight.
