Help with my tree frog!

Hiya.

As a surprise birthday gift my other half bought me a two month old Whites Tree Frog. Best present ever as I adore frogs, not so good as I was rather unprepared and obviously I want the little bloke to be happy and healthy!

I think his set up is fairly good, he's got a heat mat, plenty of bits to climb, large tank etc but I have a few general questions. Any help anyone can give me would be really reassuring and appreciated!

1) He's nocturnal, but as I do shift work sometimes I'll be coming and turning the light on at 2.30 am and then leaving it on for a few hours. Is this going to massively confuse him and upset his sleeping hours?

2) I read that I should dust his crickets in a 'vitamin supplement' any recommendations and when can I order online?

3) I was told to feed him daily while he's a juvenile. At what point will he no longer be classed a juvenile?!
(Apparently they're prone to obesity, and while I can think of nothing cuter than a fat little frog I don't want to get poorly! I'm sure he's already got bigger in the few days I've had him!)

4) So far he seems to mostly be hanging out at the back of the tank on smooth rocks, a vine and the glass itself. There's some bark and woody stuff in the tank that he is mostly ignoring. Could it be that it's too rough/dry for him? Is it worth just taking it out and getting more smooth rocks and leaves?

5) The tanks pretty large but it is a fish-style tank, wider than it is tall. Is this a serious problem if I provide him with plenty of bits to climb up?

Thats about it. Any other advice or tips would be great as well, thanks!

Lunix, please post this on the reptile forums in the amphibian section. There are plenty of very knowledgeable and experience frog keepers on there
