Any ideas what this is ????
My Cats keep bringing these things in the house (alive)
 neither me nor my Hubby know what they are we have never seen them before till now help please  x

its a catapiller they turn into really big moths, cant remeber what they are actually called, will try find out now

animals are my life  i have: 2x dogs (rottweiler and a jug), 1x african grey parrot, 2x rosella parekeets 4x syrian hamsters (baby, mocha (wiggy), peaches and daisey), 2x winter white dwarfs (sunshine and harry), 1x female leaf insects (doesn't have a names), 1x female corn snake (awaiting eggs),

Is that a Puss Moth caterpillar? Only seen them in books, would love to see one for real!
Edited: OK - hawkmoth is just as good! and gorgeous when a moth!
